Michael joined Heartwood in 2010 and manages the Growth and Adventurous investment strategies.

Scott joined Heartwood in 2008. He manages the Cautious investment strategy and is Co-Head of Fixed Income Research.

Alistair joined Heartwood in 2017. He assists in the management of the Heartwood Alternatives Fund and focuses on alternatives research.

Nikki joined Heartwood in 2017. She is the deputy manager of the Adventurous investment strategy and assists in the management of the Growth investment strategy. Her research focus is UK and European equities.

Matt joined Heartwood Investment Management in 2014. As Head of Investment Product he is responsible for overseeing product development and management, marketing and aspects of our investment operations.
Matt joined Heartwood from Old Mutual Global Investors where he worked for 13 years in a variety of product, strategy and marketing roles, and most recently as Director of Product Management. Before working at Old Mutual he was a strategy consultant for 5 years at Mitchell Madison Group.
Matt read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University and is a CFA charterholder.

Siobhan PandyaHead of Investment Communications
Siobhan joined Heartwood Investment Management in 2018 as Head of Investment Communications. She is responsible for the on-going development and communication of Heartwood’s investment proposition to all distribution channels, including Handelsbanken Wealth Management and third party channels.
Siobhan joined Heartwood from M&G Investments where, as Head of Equity Markets Content, she had responsibility for thematic articles, market commentary and digital communications. Before working at M&G she was Director of Business Services at Henderson Global Investors and has also held editorial positions at Merrill Lynch (now Bank of America Merrill Lynch) and JP Morgan Securities.
Siobhan read Economics at the University of London and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
Elizabeth BateInvestment Writer
Elizabeth started working at Heartwood in 2018 as an Investment Writer. She is responsible for delivering the key investment messages through a variety of communication materials such as client reports, market updates and thought leadership articles.
Prior to joining Heartwood, Elizabeth was an Investment Writer at Sarasin & Partners where she produced investment content and developed collateral across a spectrum of client groups including charities, institutional clients, private clients and retail investors.
Elizabeth graduated from the University of Durham with a degree in English Literature. She has a Master’s degree in English Literature from Oxford University and also holds a graduate diploma in economics from Birbeck University.
Sarah OnionsCommunications Associate
Sarah joined Heartwood in 2020 and is responsible for digital communications, content distribution and key investment marketing documents. Prior to Heartwood, Sarah gained experience in the Marketing team at Premier Miton Investors and as a Performance & Portfolio Analyst at AXA Investment Managers.
Sarah graduated from the University of Bath in 2017 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Economics.

Sophie McFarlaneClient Reporting Manager
Sophie joined Heartwood in 2013 and leads the Client Reporting Team which is responsible for the development and maintenance of the client reporting system. This includes print and digital outputs. Prior to this role, Sophie was in the Marketing team, managing key product and communication initiatives having passed as a PRINCE2 Practitioner in 2014. She started her career at a specialist oil and gas investment bank where she focused on the production of equity research and marketing at road shows.
Sophie graduated from Exeter University in 2012 with a degree in Economics and Italian and is currently studying for the Investment Management Certificate.

Nathan joined Heartwood in 2017 as a Client Reporting Associate. As part of the Client Reporting Team his responsibilities include developing and maintaining the client reporting system.
Nathan studied Computer Science and Maths at Loughborough University and has previously gained experience as a Technology Analyst at JP Morgan Chase.
Anubhuti SrivastavaSystems Manager
Anubhuti joined Heartwood in 2014 as a Business Analyst and was promoted to Systems Manager in 2018. She supports the Investment team to maintain a robust technical platform for the business to run smoothly. Prior to Heartwood, Anubhuti worked at State Street where she was a Business Analyst for in-house Asset Management system. Anubhuti has also worked for Lehman Brothers as an IT Team Leader.
Anubhuti graduated from Delhi University with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and later pursued a Masters in Computer Applications.
Jasmin BradleyProduct Manager
Jasmin joined Heartwood in 2014. As Product Manager, she has day-to-day responsibility for product management issues and manages the development of new products within the business. Prior to joining Heartwood, Jasmin was at Accenture where she worked as an Executive Assistant.
Jasmin attended Bournemouth University and became a PRINCE2 Practitioner in 2015. She is currently studying for the Investment Management Certificate.

Kevin DivallHead of Portfolio Implementation
Kevin manages client portfolios and is head of the Portfolio Implementation Team. He joined Heartwood in 2005 having previously worked at Adams & Remers and Thomson Snell & Passmore. Before that, Kevin worked in the Trust and Investment Departments of Royal Sun Alliance.
Kevin is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Luke TownsendPortfolio Associate
Luke works within the Portfolio Implementation Team and helps to maintain client portfolios according to each client’s individual strategy. Prior to joining Heartwood in 2017, he worked as an Investment Administrator at Mondrian Investment Partners. He has also gained experience at Sanlam Investments and Hargreaves Lansdown.
Luke graduated from Cardiff University in 2009 with a BSc in Economics. He passed the Investment Management Certificate in 2015 and has completed Level I of the CFA Program.
Tim BatePortfolio Associate
Tim works within the Portfolio Implementation Team and helps to maintain client portfolios according to client strategy. Before joining Heartwood in 2018, Tim worked at Coutts and Co. for 16 years, most recently as a Portfolio Manager.
Tim has a Masters in Wealth Management from the Chartered Institute of Securities and investments and is a CFA Charterholder.
Jonathan TowersHead Dealer
Jonathan is responsible for all dealing activity and liaises with brokers, market makers and fund managers to ensure timely, efficient and low-cost execution. He joined Heartwood in 2004 as part of the operations team before moving to the centralised dealing team in 2006 and was promoted to Head of Dealing in 2008. Previously, Jonathan worked for the client services department of Fidelity Brokerage from 1993, becoming a junior dealer in 1996.
Jonathan is an associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and holds the Certificate in Securities.
Anthony assists in the implementation and order execution of all trades in client portfolios. He joined Heartwood’s client services division in 2006 before moving to the dealing team in 2009. Anthony began his finance career in 1998, working for NPI as an administrator in the new business department, subsequently joining the bond servicing and claims department as a technical administrator.

Haydn joined Heartwood as Head of Third Party Distribution in 2017. Prior to this, he worked for Handelsbanken Wealth Management where he was Area Manager for the Private Clients team in the North of UK.
Haydn started his career at Handelsbanken in 2007. Before joining Handelsbanken, he worked for 16 years at HSBC in a variety of roles in Corporate Banking, Operations, Credit and Risk and Branch Management.
Haydn has a BA Hons degree in Business Studies. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute Bankers and holds the Diploma in Financial Planning.

Nick joined Heartwood in 2013 to help develop and manage Heartwood’s financial adviser business solution and distribution strategy. Nick has over 26 years’ experience of working across distribution channels in the retail investment management industry and has developed a deep understanding of the financial industry and challenges facing advice firms.
Nick joins Heartwood Investment Management from Aviva Investors where, as Investment Sales Manager, he distributed onshore and offshore retail funds to life assurance companies, investment platforms and other asset managers. Nick has also worked at Standard Life and AXA in a range of product sales roles.

Paul joined Heartwood in 2016, bringing 30 years of experience in the Intermediary sector working with a number of leading advisory firms in both the UK and Swedish markets. He has previously worked in the West End, City, Sweden and North of England and has gained a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing advice firms.
Paul joined Heartwood from Novia, where he spent six years developing its Wrap and DFM business in the North East and North West. Prior to joining Novia, Paul was a National Sales Manager at Cofunds and has also had roles in both sales and management at Zurich Financial Services.

Chris joined Heartwood Investment Management in 2017. He has over 40 years experience of working in the financial services and investment management industry.
Chris joins Heartwood from AV Trinity Ltd where, as Business Development Manager, he was responsible for implementing business development plans with new initiatives, and developing professional introducer relationships. Prior to this, Chris held a number of senior positions at Novia Financial PLC and Zurich Intermediary Group. He began his career as a Broker Consultant with Equity & Law Life Assurance Society plc.

Nick joined Heartwood from Novia where he managed relationships with advisers across Yorkshire and the North East. Prior to this, Nick held a number of senior positions at Zurich Intermediary Group and was Regional Director at Jelf IFM Financial Planning. He began his career at Wilis Corroon Ltd as a Financial Planning Consultant.

Hayley joined Heartwood’s Professional Intermediaries team in 2019. She is responsible for managing the intermediaries support team, with a wider remit to support third party channels as they grow.
Hayley joins Heartwood from Handelsbanken Wealth Management where she spent five years as an Associate Client Director. Prior to this, she gained experience at Grovewood Wealth Management and at HFM Columbus Wealth Management. Hayley also holds the CII Certificate in Financial Administration.

Previously George worked at Northern Trust, supporting Investment Managers with third party administration, and has also worked in client servicing roles for Cofunds and International Financial Data Services (now DST Systems).
George started working in the financial services industry in 2013.

Olivia joined Heartwood in 2019, and is responsible for providing administrative and client servicing support to the Professional Intermediaries team. Previously, Olivia worked as a Programme Officer at The Behaviouralist, where she provided administrative support for its business and executive operations.
Olivia graduated from London School of Economics and Political Sciences in 2017 with a (BSc) in Economic History.
