After graduating in Economics and Politics from Southampton University, Tony has worked for life assurance companies and actuarial & pension consultancies, with a strong emphasis on pensions technical guidance and retirement solutions.

In recent years, the primary focus of his work has been in the provision and supervision of personal financial planning services, with particular emphasis on SIPPs and SSASs. Tony is also an FSA authorised pension transfer specialist for Heartwood.

Tony was one of the first group of financial planners to achieve Chartered status when this first became possible in 2005, and is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society by examination - their highest level of designation. He also completed a Masters degree in Financial Services through Napier University Business School in 2007.
