After graduating in Economics from Sheffield University, Ian spent the early part of his career with a number of quoted companies. In 1989, he set up and ran the investment management operation of Adams & Remers, Solicitors, which Heartwood acquired in 2005.

Ian’s main responsibilities are managing the client team which is responsible for a substantial number of Heartwood’s clients and various major client relationships, particularly those where an integrated investment management and wealth advisory service is provided.
