David Gamble
Non-Executive Director, Heartwood Wealth Group Ltd
David Gamble started his investment career at the merchant bank Rothschild, and later moved to become managing director of County Investment Management, pioneers of quantitative investment techniques. He spent some years in New York as President of NatWest Investment Bank USA before returning and taking up an appointment as Chief Executive of British Airways Pension Investment Management.
David is well known in the pension fund and private equity communities, where he also has a series of other director roles, including IBM Pension Trustee Limited and JP Morgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust. He is Chairman of Hermes Property Unit Trust, and also a member of the Investment Committee of the BBC Pension Trust, and of the Investment Committee of the Life Companies of the Phoenix Group.
