Heartwood wins PAM award for second year running
9 March 2011
Heartwood, the independently owned wealth manager, has been selected ‘Best Overall Wealth Solutions Provider - High Net Worth’ for the second year running at this year’s PAM Awards, which are widely regarded as the ‘Oscars’ for the investment industry.
James Anderson, Chairman of the PAM judging panel, said: "Heartwood has been at the forefront of developing an integrated wealth management approach for many years and the company’s commitment to continuing to refine their client offering came through very strongly in their entry.”
Simon Lough, CEO of Heartwood, commented: “We’re tremendously proud to be recognised as Best Overall Wealth Solutions Provider for the second year in succession. Since we were founded over 20 years ago as part of Cripps Harries Hall by our Chairman David Lough we have stayed true to the original vision of delivering wealth management to our clients.
“In the past 12 months we have continued to expand our client base and now administer over £1.3 billion of funds. Our commitment to remaining independently owned, with almost 90% of the shares held by those active within the firm, ensures that our interests are firmly aligned with those of our clients. We believe this provides the right platform for maintaining the quality of our service offering and allowing us to continue expanding our client base.”
Heartwood received a total of four nominations in this year’s PAM Awards, including Best Overall Wealth Solutions Provider - High Net Worth, Investment Performance - Defensive Portfolios, Investment Performance - Growth Portfolios and Image & Reputation.
The PAM Awards have been running for eleven years. Awards are made by an independent judging panel on the basis of submissions by leading private investment and wealth management firms. Fifty-one firms made submissions for twelve awards in a variety of categories covering investment performance, service quality and reputation, and twenty firms received nominations. Heartwood was one of only ten firms to receive an award. For further information on PAM and the awards, please visit the PAMonline website – www.pamonline.com.
The culminating achievement was Heartwood’s selection as Best Overall Wealth Solutions Provider at this year’s PAM (Private Asset Management) Awards. This reflected the company’s long and successful heritage as a private wealth manager together with the investment performance it has delivered to clients in recent years.
